The Kai Shun Tim Mälzer bread knife 23 cm was designed by top chef Tim Mälzer. With this knife you can easily cut through all types of bread. Hard crust, soft crust or soft buns: a piece of cake for this amazing knife. This knife isn't just limited to bread, though. This knife can also be used to cut cakes or hard vegetables and fruit. Think, for instance, of cutting the hard skin of pumpkins or melons. But also peeling or cutting a celeriac is no problem at all. As a result this knife can handle a lot more than just bread. All in all, a beautiful, functional knife to be loved.

Excellent knife. Beautiful craftsmanship and it does the job well. Nice fine blade with enough of a tooth to get through even the toughest sourdough. Like my others, this shun knife is worth splashing out for.
