The KME Gold Series 6x1" The Beast, diamond sharpening stone, 50 grit is the coarsest diamond-coated sharpening stone from the KME range. As the name might already suggest this sharpening stone is indeed a beast. This stone quickly removes material. The Beast is so aggressive that KME itself advises against bringing the cutting edges to full apex with it. Use The Beast for the main material removal and then switch to the 100 grit or 140 grit diamond stone to further shape the edge.
