Are your knives in need of sharpening?

The **KME Gold Series 6x1"" XX-Coarse diamond-coated sharpening stone, 100 grit** is a very coarse sharpening stone you can use to reprofile and fix damaged knives and axes. Do the edge of your knife or axe contain any dents or marks? With this sharpening stone you can fix all of that. We do, however, recommend finishing the edge with a slightly finer sharpening stone.

## KME 6x1"" sharpening stones

The length of these sharpening stones makes them suitable for the KME Precision Control Plus 6 Professional Knife Sharpening System. This diamond-coated sharpening stone comprises a metal sheet that contains small synthetic diamonds. Diamond is very hard which means that diamond-coated sharpening stones quickly remove material. Don't apply too much pressure! The diamonds are placed in a layer of nickel. If you sharpen too hard you push the diamonds out of the sharpening stone.
