The **Ontario Black Bird SK-5** is a solid survival knife. This knife was designed to be used. You can use numerous cutting techniques with the razor-sharp spearpoint blade and the handle always offers enough grip. Designer Paul Scheiter definitely focused on use.

 This knife is great for survival, bushcraft and hunting purposes. To build shelter, start a fire, cut tent pegs from a piece of wood or to gut game. To make sure the blade stays sharp even after these tasks it is made from 154CM steel. This is a stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. 154CM is also relatively tough. As such you can also use this knife for the more demanding tasks.

 The handle is also produced keeping function in mind. Large finger grooves, a knife guard and G10 which will offer enough grip. Even while wearing gloves you will have enough control over the SK5 Black Bird. The end of the handle contains a large lanyard eye with enough room for a wrist strap. As such you won't lose it in the dark or during the more demanding tasks.

 The Ontario Black Bird SK-5 comes with a nylon sheath. It is MOLLE compatible and has enough room for belts up to 6.5 cm wide.
