## Spring Vulcano Pure series

The 2-layer mineral-based non-stick coating ensures maximum abrasion resistance for years and an optimised non-stick effect. The non-stick coating is PFAS-free, unlike Spring's somewhat more affordable pans which are only PFOA-free. PFAS refers to a large group of more than 4,700 synthetic chemicals, including PFOA and PFOS.

## Unique 5-layer construction

Spring Vulcano Pure frying pans have a 5-layer construction that ensures optimal heat conduction. The outer layer is made from 18/0 stainless steel. This type of steel makes the pans suitable for induction. The inner layer is 18/10 stainless steel. The 18 stands for 18% chromium and the 10 stands for 10% nickel. This is an excellent choice in terms of composition, because of chromium's durability and nickel's brightness. There is a 3-layer aluminium core between the inner and outer layers. Because of this structure, heat is evenly spread from the bottom to the edge of the pan and thus to the contents from all sides. On top of this 5-layer structure there is a 3-layer non-stick coating. This layer ensures that your food won't burn. This makes the pans more efficient and more economical.

## How to use the Vulcano Pure pan

For safety reasons, the handle is made of stainless steel. If used correctly, the handles of the pan remain cool enough to grasp without hurting yourself. The pan does need to be used on a suitable gas hob or cooking zone for this to be possible. The Vulcano Pure frying pan is suitable for all heat sources including induction. Another benefit of the Spring pans from this series is that they are suitable for oven use. Heat the pan to a maximum of 250 degrees to prevent overheating. This means you can easily keep your dishes at the right temperature inside the oven. To prevent damage to the non-stick coating, we recommend using wooden, silicone or plastic utensils.

## Maintenance tips

Before first use, wash the frying pan with warm water and a small amount of washing-up liquid. After each use, we recommend cleaning the pan thoroughly with warm water. In the unlikely event of burnt-on food rests, you can easily remove them with a soft sponge and a mild detergent. When it isn't caked on you can simply wipe it away with a paper towel. The concentrated rinsing agents used in a dishwasher can impair and damage the materials, which is why we recommend washing the pan by hand.
