The Tojiro Shippu Black damascus nakiri 16 cm knife is a traditional Japanese vegetable knife and can be recognized by the angular and thin blade with rounded tip at the front of the edge. As such cutting perfect strips of veggies is a piece of cake! However, because of the thin blade you cannot use it to chop!

Beautiful knife, the black oxide blade is stunning! not as sharp out of the box. The wooden handle not as flush or smooth as I thought it would be., between the handle and the plastic cap. For me the handle it's a little bit awkward to hold into. Nice looking knife though.
