Ultra-fine Boride T2 sharpening stone for the TSPROF sharpening system

The **TSPROF Boride T2 F1200 sharpening stone** is the finest sharpening stone from the popular T2 Boride sharpening stone collection. The sharpening stone is mounted to an aluminium sheet to make sure you can easily attach it to the TSPROF sharpening system. Boride determines the grain sizes of the sharpening stones based on the FEPA (Federation of European Producers of Abrasives) standard. This F1200 grit sharpening stone corresponds with a J4000 grit Japanese sharpening stone.

 ### Boride T2 sharpening stones

 The sharpening stones are made from aluminium oxide and rock-solid. As such the stones quickly remove material and hardly wear out. Boride states that the T2-collection is the best collection to sharpen stainless steel. You can, however, also sharpen other types of steel with these sharpening stones. You can use the sharpening stones with water or [sharpening oil](/en/pt/-skerper-premium-honing-oil-sa01.htm). Do make sure, however, that if you use sharpening oil once, you always need to use sharpening oil! Water is not as effective on a sharpening which has already been used with sharpening oil.
