The **WOOX Volante hand axe** is an ideal axe for one-handed use. It's small and lightweight, so you can easily take it with you on your bushcraft or camping trip. The wide cutting edge makes the Volante a highly versatile tool. You can also get your hand close to the head, so this axe is also very suitable for smaller work that requires precision. The lightweight head also makes it a great throwing axe. This axe meets the competition standards of the International Axe Throwing Federation.

## The head of the WOOX Volante

The head of this axe is forged by hand in Italy. The head is made from 1045 carbon steel. This is a tough, shock-resistant steel that is easy to sharpen. The head ends in a wide cutting edge, making the axe good for both small splitting work around the campsite and for making firesticks. Each axe head is shaped and finished by hand.

## The handle of the WOOX Volante

The handle is made from American hickory wood from the Appalachian Mountains. It has a water-repellent finish. The head and handle are assembled in the WOOX factory in America. Because the wood used for the handle is a natural product, each axe will look slightly different. Every axe is a unique masterpiece!
