## Yaxell Ran blade

The blade is made from 69 layers of damascus steel and a core of Japanese VG10 steel hardened up to 61HRC. VG10 is known to be very hard and can also easily be sharpened. The damascus steel is in nice contrast with the dark and light lines that run over the entire length of the blade. This combination of the type of steel and the finish ensures that the Yaxell Ran knives are efficient, but also look amazing.

## Yaxell Ran handle

Yaxell uses micarta for the handles. Micarta is a material comprised of linen, impregnated with an epoxy resin. This makes it a very strong material. It can withstand virtually anything, and has great water resistance. Micarta is known to offer a lot of grip. Even if it is wet. The oval and round shape of the handle provides you with enough grip, making it very comfortable to use.
