This **BeaverCraft DK1S Drawknife** is a nice draw knife, sharpened on one side. With it you can remove bark from trees or create long shapes. Think of the handle of a hammer of axe. This knife is perfect for those tasks.



The blade is made from fine carbon steel. Easy to sharpen and very tough. As such it will bend sooner than it will break, in case something goes wrong. Better safe than sorry! Keep in mind that carbon steel is not stainless. So don't store it while still wet. A couple drops of oil once in a while will make sure the blade stays in great shape.



The handle is made from oak wood. A strong type of wood that is a little more fancy than standard ash wood. The ergonomics of all BeaverCraft tools is great. But the good thing about wood carving knives is that you can always modify the handle yourself. To make it your own!



This knife comes with a simple leather sheath.

Decent bit of kit, blade is very well inserted into the handles.

Un trozo de acero al carbono con mal acabado sobre dos mangos simples. Al menos viene con un filo decente, pero es algo caro para lo simple que es, literalmente 0 forja, es una palanquilla plana a la que se le ha sacado filo en el centro e incrustado dos trozos de madera, posiblemente dos minutos de trabajo con maquinaria.
Hace su trabajo de todas formas, con filo asimétrico por lo que es más fino y adecuado que un cuchillo para rebajar madera.
Se oxida con la mirada, siempre siempre mantenerlo con aceite

Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
