The **Buck 112 Ranger** is the slightly smaller version of the Buck 110. The construction is the same as its big brother, a first-class 420HC blade that retains its sharpness well, and a handle made from thick brass with stabilized wood inlays. This version is enhanced with finger grooves at the base of the handle. As such you have even more grip over the knife.

Experts know that for the heat treatment of the blades Buck works closely with Paul Bos. He is an absolute master when it comes to hardening steel. He knows how to get the most out of a specific type of steel and makes sure that the 420HC blade performs optimally.

Un classique comme le 110 mais beaucoup plus pertinent à porter tous les jours, rasoir en sortie de boîte, en un mot,parfait. 

Nachdem ich schon seit einigen Jahren ein Buck 110 habe sollte es ein wenig kleiner sein. Das 110er trägt ja in der Hosentasche schon ein bißchen auf. 
Das 112 hat die von Buck gewohnte Qualität. Scharfe Klinge, massiver Lock und einwandfreie Verarbeitung. Das mitgelieferte Etui ist ein wenig steif, aber das gibt sich im Gebrauch. 
Das Messer entspricht voll den Erwartungen, wenn man weiß dass diese Qualität eben auch etwas schwerer und dicker ist. 

Very pleased with the Buck 112. Good, solid materials, positive lockup, sharp out of the box. I have a 110 too, which is also a fine knife, but the 112 is more practical in terms of size & weight. Got it on sale so the price was right. 
I got an engraving from K&T also and was very happy with the quality & positioning. It was on the opposite side of the Buck stamp, rather than along the blade, which looks great. 

Coltello con dimensioni tascabili ma solidissimo. Materiali classici ma di grande qualità e lavorati davvero bene, solo qualche sbavatura sulla parte superiore della clip point, che ho dovuto sistemare, ma é comune in molti Buck. Come lama un rasoio mon sarebbe così affilato. Il fodero é resistente e di un cuoio di prima qualità.
