The **Condor Bushlore 232-4.3HC** is a popular bushcraft knife, for a great price. With a blade length of 10.9 cm the Condor Bushlore is very all-round. Large enough for almost all bushcraft tasks, and small enough for finer wood work. 

 The blade of the Condor Bushlore is made from 1075 carbon steel. A strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen, and can also handle quite a lot. 1075, however, is not completely stainless. As such you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The knife has a strong full-tang construction. This means that the thickness of the blade runs throughout the entire handle.

 The handle is made from walnut wood. The Condor Bushlore comes in a solid leather sheath with a belt loop that has enough room for belts up to 6.8 cm.

I found this knife in a article reviewing various bush craft knives as I have never bought one before. This one was at the top of the list for value for money and I have to say myself that the article wasn't lying. Right out of its packaging this knife comes with a razor sharp finish, making good first impressions as it has been taken care of.
The robust timeless full tang hard wood handle design makes for a brilliant tool for many jobs in the wilderness from building shelters to preparing rabbits, hares and deer, this knife battles through it all and is built to last. It comes with a 1075 steel blade which does not need regular sharpening. 
Criticisms so far:
Given its wooden handle, it needs to stay dry in order to last a long time so it does require more maintenance than a modern plastic design.

Ligt goed in de hand met toch voldoende massa om zwaarder snijwerk te verrichten. Verder zoals we van Condor gewend zijn : een mooie lederen schede.

Un excellent couteau buschcraft pour tailler du bois (personnellement pour un firesteel, j'utilise un grattoir voire le dos de lame d'un neck knife dédié à cet effet, pour pas endommager mon couteau...). La lame est très tranchante et rentre bien dans le bois, l'acier est classique, facile à affuter et à entretenir. Ce couteau a quelque chose de rustique mais authentique. La prise en main est excellente. L'étui bien fait avec une très bonne rétention. Et pour finir un prix très correcte.

Beautiful knife and sheath. As a left handed person, the sheath must be worn reversed, shame there is no solution for the 10% of left handed people in the world. First day with batoning and using a firesteel it got multiple chips from the batoning and the back of the knife got damaged from the firesteel. So although it’s made for bushcrafting, I would recommend a knife with better steel for the job.
