Magnetic knife strip Eden 50 cm. Made from oak wood

This **Eden magnetic knife strip made from oak wood** is a real asset to your kitchen! This strip doesn't only look amazing, it is also safe for the blade of the knives you store on it. The blade only comes into contact with the wood. As such the blade remains sharp and the cutting edge won't get damaged. This knife holder is strong enough to carry all types of knives. 


**Type of wood**
 This magnetic strip is made from oak wood. A hard type of wood that won't absorb the flavour or fragrance of the products. Oak wood is yellow-brown with dark brown streaks in its structure. This wood has a matted finish.


**Please note**: the knife magnet you receive can, because of natural variations, differ from the one you have seen on the product photographs. The model and type of material, however, will always be the same.


**Mounting options**
The Eden magnetic knife strips can be mounted to your wall in two ways: with the included double-sided tape or with screws. The tape can take up to 20 kg per 10 cm. **Maintenance**
All our magnetic knife strips are oiled using a mineral oil. When the wood loses its beautiful colour all you have to do is apply a new coat of oil. Preferably [Eden Essentials mineral oil for wooden cutting boards, 120 ml](/en/pt/-eden-essentials-mineral-oil-for-wooden-cutting-boards-120-ml.htm)paraffin oil such as the Eden Essentials mineral oil for wooden cutting boards, 120 ml. You can also easily clean the strip using a damp piece of cloth.

Mooie magneetstrip met een sterke magneet.
Zeer goed verpakt.

Helemaal volgens verwachtingen. De magneet werkt goed en kan zowel hele kleine messen als grote koksmessen vasthouden.

Mooi en goede kwaliteit! Makkelijke bevestiging. 

Mooie strip echter de gleuf aan de achterzijde van het hout is te diep gefreesd waardoor montage met de meegeleverde plakstrip niet mogelijk is. Boren was voor mij geen optie (graniet blad). Ik heb het opgelost door het hout direct op het granieten blad te lijmen met polymax.

Zeer mooi product, en de messen blijven goed aan de magneetstrip hangen
De magneetstrip zelf blijft echter niet aan de muur hangen met de meegeleverde bevestigingsmagneet. Schoof van links naar rechts en donderde met messen en al naar bendeden, met alle gevolgen vandien... 
Heb deze uiteindelijk moeten verlijmen tegen de muur.
Voor deze prijs zou het montagesysteem wel wat beter mogen zijn
