The **Eden knife block for six knives** is a knife block made from stunning and sustainable rubber wood. The wood of the rubber tree is one of the most ecologically-'friendly' types of wood in the modern wood industry. The wood is only used after the entire cycle of the latex production has ended. This type of hard wood is one of the most stable types of wood and retains its shape under changing conditions. 

Suited for 6 knives or five knives and a sharpening or honing steel. With this knife block, you always have your knives at hand and at the same time they are safely stored. Knives not included.

## Which knives fit in this knife block?

When you purchase an empty knife block it is, of course, important to know which knives fit inside. We measured this knife block. From the top left to the bottom righ the dimensions of the openings are:

  * Width: 3.5 cm, depth: 25 cm (also for a honing steel or sharpening steel of 1.5 cm in diameter)
  * Width: 5 cm, depth 24 cm
  * Width: 3.5 cm, depth: 20.5 cm
  * Width: 5 cm, depth 20.5 cm
  * Width: 3 cm, depth 14.5 cm
  * Width: 2.4 cm, depth: 14.5 cm

**Please note:** The Eden Kanso Aogami 23 cm chef's knife does not fit inside this block. The blade is 5.4 cm and therefore too wide for the broadest slot. This knife block is not suitable for the Eden Essentials chef's knife and the Eden Essentials Santoku. Due to the angled design of the handle of these knives, the tip of the knife's edge will stick out from the block a little.

I really like this knife block but should have checked the slot sizes, as I can’t fit all my knives in it🙄

Got it on sale. Great stand, only negative is place for sharpening steel which is too small for 30cm diamond Eden.

Very good value for money, My very first knife block, fits all my knives, without blunting them. A good choice

For the money, I think it's really good. I wish it had two more slots for big knives but that's a preference, not necessarily a fault with this product. 

Ik had al zzo'n mesblok van Eden maar omdat de mesverzameling maar groter en groter werd kon ik op zoek naar of een groter en vaak duur blok of, zoals ik nu heb gedaan, heb er gewoon één bijgekocht. Deze is precies zo groot als mijn oude en dezelfde kleur. Staan nu netjes naast elkaar en voldoet ook prima. Dit is een mesblok voor een zeer mooi prijsje en voldoet geweldig goed.
