The **GiantMouse GMF1-C** is a compact and practical fixed knife for daily use. It has the size of a neck knife, but comes with a nice leather sheath. You attach it your belt, or carry it in your pocket. Because of its compact size it will therefore replace your pocket knife.

 The GiantMouse GMF1 is one of the first knives the brand introduced. Designers Jesper Voxnaes and Jens Anso used their expert design vision to turn this compact knife into an ergonomically appealing knife. By adding a small piece of jimping in the front finger groove you will have a better grip. For additional grip you can tie a piece of lanyard at the end of the handle. As such you 'elongate' the handle for even more ease of use. The blade is made from Böhler N690-steel. An Austrian type of steel that is incredibly stainless and retains its sharpness well. This type of steel is also easy to sharpen, if need be.

 The GiantMouse GMF1 comes with a leather belt sheath, with a belt loop for belts up to (approximately) 5.5 cm. In addition, there are a number of lanyard eyes to make sure you can create your own paracord construction. The sheath is so compact you can also easily carry it in your pocket.

Schönes, sehr gut verarbeitetes kleines Messer, das trotz seiner geringen Abmessungen gut in der Hand liegt - zumindest in meiner mittelgroßen Hand. Auch die Lederscheide ist top verarbeitet. Aber das Messer sitzt relativ stramm darin und ist mit einer Hand nicht gut raus- bzw. reinzubekommen, wem man es am Gürtel trägt. Wird mit zunehmendem Gebrauch wohl noch etwas leichtgängiger.

Schönes kleines EDC.
Wirklich gut und schön verarbeitet.
Habe aufgrund dessen auch das XL gekauft. :-)


Kompaktes gutes Messer.
Bequem mit einer Lanyard-Perle zu verwenden, bietet es mehr Funktionalität.
Stahl ist gut, weil er nicht rostet und für viele Arbeiten geeignet ist. Die Scheide ist von hoher Qualität.
Ein wichtiger Punkt ist, dass es ab 2024 ein neues Logo auf diesen Messern geben wird, das habe ich selbst mit Firmenvertretern abgeklärt.
