The **Helle Speider** is an outdoor knife, perfect for the scouts. The handle is comfortable and safe thanks to the steel knife guard. It is made from stunning birch wood. The handle was shaped, polished and oiled by hand to give it it's unique character. The blade is made from 12C27. Razor-sharp upon delivery and easy to sharpen.


The knife comes with a traditional Scandinavian leather sheath.



## Maintaining Helle knives


Both the handle and the blade need to be dried with a soft towel if they get wet. We also recommended occasionally adding wax or oil.


The sheath should occasionally be impregnated with a colourless agent (grease or wax) to make sure it stays flexible. Dry the sheath carefully at room temperature if it gets wet.



All Helle knives are made and finished by hand. As such each knife is a unique masterpiece because every pattern is different.

Beau fourrure en cuir ainsi que son manche et belle lame.

La finition n'est pas jolie, le bois est légèrement abîmé au niveau de la garde, et celle-ci n'est pas alignée à la lame. 

Le fabricant doit garder les meilleurs modèles pour son site de vente, et envoyer au revendeur les moins bien fait.

Goed mes. Het handvat van het mes is wat donkerder uitgevallen dan op de fotos maar dat is natuurlijk omdat het handgemaakt is. Door de scherpe slijphoek krijgt de snijkant snel een burr. Gelukkig makkelijk bij de slijpen door de scandi grind . Lichtgewicht met een foedraal van kwaliteit leer.

Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
