The **Hultafors GK Heavy-Duty Knife** is an ultra-sturdy fixed knife. A solid workhorse for tackling bigger jobs. It can really go the distance! It's an ideal knife to have with you during demolition work, for instance. Hultafors itself describes this as a knife for chopping, prying and breaking. We do advise that any damage to the edge as a result of this use is not covered by the warranty.


The blade is made from Japanese carbon steel. This is a sturdy steel that is easy to sharpen. It isn't stainless, though, so take care around moisture and acids. The handle is made from polypropylene. This is a durable plastic that will last for years and years.



The knife comes with a handy sheath so you can carry it on a belt up to 4 cm wide. You can also hang it from a button on your overalls. To do this, unclip the belt loop, slide the button in and then click it into place. Very practical!

Beste prijs/kwaliteit die je kan vinden. Mora Companion is iets fijner en zal beter zijn voor houtbewerking. maar de Hultafors is dan weer iets steviger en goedkoper.

This is a budget knife, however it is sturdy, comes factory sharp and holds the edge amazingly well! I needed a simple knife for house/garden use... but this would be a great bushcraft knife! It scrapes firesteel
