This is a great pouch for EDC, special if you only have one knife in it, then there is pleasant room for oil, fire steel, cleaning cloth and a few more small object. It will also perform perfect as a first aid tool pouch.

I have a few of the maxpedition pouches and bought this KATO alternative as a gift for a friend. I loaded it up with his tools and the only drawback really is the MOLLE feeling pretty weird and plasticy (maxpedition e.g. has fabric MOLLE). Get this one if you like the pocket setup better, wanna save some money or just show your love to Knives and Tools and you don't care about the MOLLE. Big room for patches is a nice bonus.
