Lighting a fire difficult? Not with Light my Fire TinderSticks! This Mexican pine wood has a resin share of 80% and is also known as *fat wood*. Cut a few splinters of the Tinder-on-a-Rope and the wood is very easy to ignite with a fire starter, such as the Aurora Fire Starter. Matches will, of course, also work as well. The wood burns fast, long and hot. The perfect basis to start a large fire. Even in wet conditions it will burn well because the fire is mainly fuelled by the resin, not the wood.

Ik heb altijd al een vuurtje willen maken op de bushcraft-manier, en met mijn Casström No. 10 en firesteel lukt dat snel en perfect met deze Tindersticks. Het materiaal werkt echt super. Ik had eerst wat kleine stukjes af gesneden, wat schaafsel verzameld, alle restjes in een klein hoopje. Na een paar keer vonken vat dit Fatwood direct vlam — echt indrukwekkend.
Nog niet getest in de regen, maar onder droge omstandigheden werkt dit prima.
