The **LionSteel M4 MagnaCut** is an all-round fixed knife designed by Michele 'Moletta' Pensato. It was designed as a knife for bushcraft enthusiast and other outdoor fans. Large enough for comfortable use and compact enough to take with you on hikes. On the one hand the design of this knife is very modern. On the other hand it looks like a classic hunting knife. LionSteel knows how to balance these two like no other. On the spine of the blade, around the transition of the handle, you find a small protrusion. So small you hardly notice it, but large enough to offer your thumb more grip.

## Knivesandtools Exclusive

This MagnaCut version of the LionSteel M4 was created through a collaboration between LionSteel and Knivesandtools itself. A great knife with a fantastic price-quality ratio, exclusively available at Knivesandtools.

## G10 handle

The subtle handle is made from black G10. A strong composite material that is made from glass fibre and synthetic resin. Very lightweight and offers a solid and pleasant grip. The deep black of the G10 provides a stunning contrast to the grey stonewash-finished blade.

## CPM MagnaCut steel

The blade is made from CPM MagnaCut. One of the most talked-about steels in 2021 and 2022. Many feel this type of steel is 'perfect'. Quite the statement. But they are right. It is a stainless type of tool steel. With a comparable toughness and sharpness retention of carbon steels such as CPM-CruWear, CPM-4V and Vanadis 4. The corrosion resistance is also sublime. Better than the popular stainless types of steel such as CPM S110V, CPM S45VN and Böhler M390. If that is not perfection, we don't know what is!

The LionSteel M4 comes with a right-handed leather belt sheath. The maximum belt width for this sheath is 8.0 cm.

Czekałem dlugo. I w końcu jestem posiadaczem Lionsteel M4 Magnacot Black G10. Warto było czekać. Nóż jest wręcz idealny. Dokupiłem tylko pochwę ktdex na stronie producenta i mam na prawdę kawał dobrego i bardzo drogiego żelastwa. Polecam nóż I sklep knivesandtools.com

Matériaux haut de gamme mais gâcher par un angle d'aiguisage de 22° ce qui lui donne une coupe juste moyenne. Je l'ai donc renvoyé.
Il serait appréciable que toutes les pages produits contiennent la dureté HRC et l'angle d'aiguisage et que les consommateurs puissent les sélectionner dans les filtres.

In general they have very quality products and prices. 

There is a lot of bad things to say about k&t. Their customer service is bad. Sometimes you have to wait weeks for an answer if you write to them. An it is possible that you never hear from them if you question their solutions to problems. They only have one solution to a problem, return the product. Nowadays we are not used to that kind of service. I bought the knife, but had an issue with the sheath. Because of that i had to return the whole product, even though it was only related to the sheath which could have been replaced on its own. Another thing you should be aware of is, that money are drawn immediately upon ordering, even though the product is not in stock and you as a customer might have to wait several months before you receive the product, that is not a common way of doing things in my country. I have had too many bad experiences with them, and have found other places to order knives from.

Über das M4 wurde ja schon einiges geschrieben und ich möchte auch darauf nicht mehr eingehen, aber das Upgrade auf MagnaCut ist aus heutiger Sicht einfach eine gute Entscheidung gewesen und das Geld mehr als wert. Einen kleinen Unterschied gibt es dann doch im Vergleich zur M390 Variante, und zwar wurde hier der überstehende Erl angeschliffen um einen Feuerstahl zu nutzen.
Würde es jetzt noch eine Kydex offiziell zu kaufen geben, so wäre es wirklich eine abgerundete Sache. Zum Glück gibt es aber Custom-Made-Scheiden, die allerdings ihren Preis haben und nicht zeitnah zu bekommen sind. Schade, hier hätte lionSTEEL durchaus noch Potenzial dadurch noch mehr Kunden anszusprechen. Ist ja nicht so, als könnten die es nicht! Für andere Modelle gibt es diese ja auch schon. Und der Trend geht, wie ich finde, schon in diese Richtung.
