The **Naniwa Jyunpaku sharpening stone grain 8000** is an ultra-fine sharpening stone to sharpen your knives razor-sharp. The Jyunpaku is one of the most popular sharpening stones from the Naniwa range.


## Jyunpaku Snow White


In the sharpening world this sharpening stone is also known as 'Snow White'. Not only because the stone is snow white, also because of the stunning, mirrored sharpening results. Despite this high reputation and high demand, these sharpening stones are relatively scarce. Naniwa only produces a limited amount of the Jyunpaku. All to make sure they control the quality of each sharpening stone. Mirror, mirror on the wall, which is the best sharpening stone of them all? We might not be a magic mirror, but we know for sure that the Naniwa Jyunpaku is a real contender!


## Use


The Naniwa Jyunpaku is a water stone. This means you have to submerge it in water a couple minutes before use. Compared to more affordable water stones, you notice that this sharpening stone won't need a lot of additional water, and definitely absorbs it properly. As such you don't have to add water to the stone as often as you sharpen your knife. You do, however, see dark stripes emerge as you use the stone. The dark metal particles are, of course, very visible on the light sharpening surface. That is why we recommend cleaning the surface of the stone after use with a [Naniwa Dressing Stone](/en/pt/-naniwa-dressing-stone-a-206.htm). As such the stone stays nice and white and you make sure the stone stays in great shape.


Allow the stone to dry at room temperature after use. You probably see little hairline fractures emerge. Even if you allow the stone to dry properly. Don't worry! This is normal for this stone and won't affect the results.

Ottima pietra, la utilizzo come pietra per prefinituta sui miei rasoio a mano libera, è una pietra molto veloce e il colore bianco ti permette di capire bene come stai lavorando. Lucida tantissimo e offre ottimi risultati. Sono molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto. E ottima la spedizione da parte di knivesandtools super rapida. 

Un ottima pietra da lucidatura, il colore bianco aiuta a capire quanto si stà lavorando.

Estupenda piedra para sacar un filo de espejo.

Es muy parecida a la Chocera, aunque antes de usarla, hay que sumergirla en agua porque absorbe más que la Chocera. Sin embargo da la misma sensación y un gran resultado.

Es una buena alternativa a la Chocera 10K, más barata y un gran acabado. Aunque, a pesar que sea mucho más barata, no es una piedra muy barata.

Otra cosa a tener en cuenta, no viene con su caja original. Viene en una caja de cartón con una pequeña pegatina.
