Bought this as a gift so I've not used the item. However upon examination it does look a robust and sturdy tool, I expect it to last many years of use. The blade is substantial and sharp and the handle, although simple, looks and feels comfortable. It is an expensive tool but if it lasts several years without fault then perhaps it will be worth it. The performance of Knives & Tools was excellent, quick, efficient and very well packaged. I would use this company again and might even consider buying myself a Hori Hori in the future.
