Convex edge along with D2 steel holds up edge pretty good, after a little batoning, scrapping and knife throwing pass it over a strop and it is back to normal. Descent knife for the price, the abscence of a handguard along with the wooden handle feels a little slippery on harder tasks, but the beautiful blade and handle finish, steel the impressions. Hidden lanyard hole looks good, but will wear the paracord prematurely.

This is a great knife for bushcrafting or just as a camp/outdoor knife. it comes out razor sharp. it has a nice weight to it and a sharp spine for using a fire-rod. the wooden handle is comfrtable in the hand and i havent experienced pain while batonning or feathering wood. would recommend
