Are your knives in need of sharpening?

With the **Skerper Axe Sharpener** you can easily sharpen all large tools such as axes, machetes, lawn mower blades and even shovels. The round shape of this sharpening stone ensures that you can easily sharpen by hand. Especially for large tools this is the preferred sharpening method.


The grey side has a grain size of 160 grit. With it you remove damages from the edge and straighten it again. The red side has a grain size of 600 grit. With this side you can make sure the edge is razor-sharp once again! This side is also great to make sure your knife stays sharp.


### Use and maintenance


Before you use the stone we recommend submerging it a couple minutes before use. As such you end up with better results and the stone will last even longer. Allow the stone to slowly dry after use. Don't place it in a hot sun, or on the heater!


Secure the sharpening stone between your fingers and place it on the edge. Move the sharpening stone over the edge with small circular movements. Try to keep the movements small. As such you also make sure the stone doesn't slip from your hand.
