## How do you use a Skerper Professional sharpening stone?

Before use you need to submerge the stone in water. You submerge the stone completely and wait about five minutes. Or until you no longer see bubbles coming from the stone. Before you start sharpening place the stone on the universal sharpening stone holder. The less the stone comes into contact with the surface, the less the water will be sucked through the stone. This is especially key for the 220 stone because the water quickly soaks through the coarse grain.

Make sure the surface of the stone remains wet during use. If it is not the results will be disappointing, and it can even damage the stone. Sharpen the knife on one side until you feel a burr over the entire length of the edge. Now sharpen the other side of the edge until you feel another burr. Now you need to lightly move the edge over the stone to carefully remove the burr. Do you no longer feel the burr? If so you can switch to a finer stone.

Calidad precio muy bueno. Magnificas piedras. He utilizado piedras mas caras y bastante peores. Añadiria la piedra de aplanar 24/220 y estaria muy completo para la mayoria de las situaciones

Dit is een heel bruikbare slijpset dat doet wat het moet doen. De steen met korrel 200 is wel heel grof en ik weet niet wat ik hier moet mee aanvangen omdat ik mijn messen nooit zo bot laat worden. Wel belangrijk om de stenen na elke slijpbeurt af te spoelen en -wassen.
