The Böker Plus Atlas 01BO856 is a practical EDC pocket knife, perfect for daily use. Böker has given the Atlas a decent stainless steel handle. Nice and simple, and rock-solid. The blade is made from 12C27 steel. This is a great type of stainless steel that retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen. There is no real locking mechanism: it simply has a slipjoint that offers some resistance when closing. This means you can legally carry the Atlas in many places in Europe.
