Metallurgy: 9/10 BOS HT is great Design: 9/10 love it, ergonomic, versatile. Finishes: 6.5/10 disappointing for blade, reccomended upgrade Sheath: 9.5/10 real kydex, high retention, no compromises Value: 7/10 limited by only sufficient finishes Blade has all sharp corners everywhere, I disassembled it and chamfered all borders with Demel, now it is way nicer. There was also a not finished grey area in the guard but I also fixed it with sandpaper to apply satin finish, quality control should be tighten, sloppy. I loved factory sharpening, very acute, no reprofiling needed (much intensive for customers), I refined the apex to extreme sharpness and splitted hairs very easily with it. Bos HT seems great, high reputation well deserved, super nice blade to sharpen, highly enjoyable and reccomended. This Magnacut felt slightly softer then Manix Magnacut (black milled G10), but I think is optimal for a fixed blade, still hard but super ultra easy to sharpen (Manix also is very easy). Magnacut is a great steel, L. Thomas made a great work, one of my favourite with CruWear for general tasks (in MagnaMax I will add 2/3% tungsten experimental). Price is high but off course is set for US salaries not very low Italy. Overall a superb blade, that is super easy to sharpen with phenomenal internal structure that get to "top gun, tier 1" apex accuracy. G10 and kydex are also perfect combos. Only limitation are the finishes that should be upgraded, a lot (reccomended Benchmade standard excellent with tight quality control, never had any problem by Benchmade, BM 539 also in my collection, superb knife CruWear).

First I bought another knife, which was 100 euros cheaper, because it ticked most of my boxes. I was not excited by it, and did not itch to use it. So I returned it unused and bought this knife. This knife does tick all my boxes: fantastic (stainless) steel, all weather handle, and all weather sheath. On top of that I find the design truly beautiful. As such, I itch to use it! So I have been using it to cut my fruit and vegetables, and discovered that it comes incredibly sharp! Beware! I find the knife easy to use in different ways, because of the handle shape. And it is also incredible easy to clean, because of the materials used. This is my first "serious" knife purchase, so I don't know much about knife pricing. For me, this knife is expensive! It's great, and I love it, but it is still expensive. Highly recommend it!
