The **Case Vintage Bone Saddlehorn** is a traditional pocket knife with a classic Trapper shape. This is a pattern that has its origins amongst hunters and poachers. This specific version has two blades: one classic clip point and one traditional skinner. Both blades can be used to gut caught game. When opened, they are kept in place by a slipjoint.

## Damascus steel blade

The blade is made from damascus steel, a type of steel comprised of two different types of steel that were forged and folded together. By folding it in different ways you end up with a stunning pattern. Originally, damascus steel was forged to improve the quality of the steel. Nowadays, it simply looks cool.

## Vintage Bone handle

The handle is made from Vintage Bone. The Saddlehorn knife is named after the characteristic shape of the handle, which is reminiscent of a saddle. The handle was designed for extra grip for puncturing or cutting stiff leather. Case Knives' shield is inlaid in the handle.
