## Blade made from 1095 carbon steel

1095 is a commonly-used carbon steel, often applied in the production of survival knives. Thanks to its carbon content, this steel can be hardened very well. 1095 is famous for its strength and resilience. However, it is not stainless! Dry the knife after use and apply a bit of oil now and then to keep the knife in optimal condition.

## American Hickory handle

The handle is made from American Hickory wood. The blade runs throughout the length of the handle, which is known as a full-tang construction, making the knife rock-solid. 

The knife comes in a nice leather sheath. You can secure the knife inside the sheath with a press-stud.
