Expensive for what is essentially a small plastic clamp. Then again, although the concept is simple, making your own jig like this would be difficult for most people. The adjustable guides don't feel as sturdy as I'd like and I worry they may flex during sharpening, affecting the angle. However, I have used it successfully and put a very sharp edge on my cook's knife. So it does work.
