Pros: comfortable handle, came with a 25 degree bevel which I like. Steel is nice and tough and takes a razor edge easily. Came very sharp and nicely finished. Looks very nice and the sheath is good. Good for feather sticking and the handle is wide enough so you don’t get pain pressing down while cutting. Cons: I think the blade is a little thin for batoning and I’ve seen the wooden guard break when used for this.

Second version of this knife I have purchases with the original being the laminated stainless steel version. Best handle I have used on any knife for comfort and my hands are XL. 14C28N steel is ok for bushcraft tasks and holds an edge pretty good. Quality of the knife and sheaf are excellent as always from Helle. For the price I paid I'm very happy and it will be my reserve knife if ever needed. Knives and Tools are always spot on with delivery times. Very pleased.
