Full description
This Deba knife is part of the beautiful Kai Seki Magoroku Kinju collection. The Japanese knife is specially designed for precisely cutting vegetables and fish. It is a fairly large and heavy knife with its wide blade and 16.5 centimetre blade length, but it is still designed in the traditional way. This knife looks magnificent in any kitchen, and is also a joy to work with while cooking. The Deba knife is traditionally used as an axe, since it is a heavy but stable knife. The front part of the blade is best used for filleting, the back part for chopping bones and tendons.
