Opinel breaks 70 years of tradition with the Opinel Néo6: the first Opinel knife since 1955 to be equipped with the innovative Opiflex mechanism. The Néo6 is Opinel's response to increasingly strict knife legislation in Europe. Thanks to the Opiflex mechanism, the blade does not lock completely in the open position. The blade also has a rounded tip. This makes the Néo6 look less threatening and the knife more in line with modern laws and regulations.
