The larger models feature the simple yet effective Virobloc safety twistlock mechanism, which allows the blade to be locked in both the open and the closed positions. This pocket knife is a classic in the true sense of the word.
The blade of this knife is made of carbon steel. It is very easy to sharpen and hone to a thin edge, making it razor sharp, yet very strong. Carbon steel is more susceptible to rust than stainless steel and therefore needs to be cleaned properly and kept dry. If you prefer an Opinel knife with a rust-resistant blade, you can use the knives with stainless steel.
This knife cannot be etched since it is manufactured from high-carbon steel. The result does not meet our requirements.
|Right or left-handed||symmetrical|

Wasn’t very sharp when it arrived and the rust settled in quite quickly but getting the rust eraser and some oil for the blade has made things better, pitty it’s no the easiest to sharpen
