Opinel No. 08 133080 Beech Wood, gardening knife

Great little knife, very slicey and light., standard Opinel lock works great. Handle shape makes it more pocket friendly than the std No.8 but not as good for carving as the thin end tires you hand after a bit. Lost a star because mine was basically unsharpened for the 3cm to the tip 9but like a razor for the rest of the blade).

Opinel No. 08 inbox . This knife has a red wooden handle and a stainless steel blade . The blade length is approx. 3.25 inches in length , putting it slightly over the 3 inch limit in Ireland 🇮🇪, however the bright colour of the handle gives a non intimidating appearance . Being a stainless steel blade , slow to rust , it is a nice size for food preparation . Therefore it is usefull for camping 🏕 tasks in general . As for its weight of 45 grams , it is ideal for light packing . I can also recommend this knife .

This knife is very cheap and I'm not sure how long it will last, but it is excellent for the garden, and even if it only lasts 3 or 4 years, then its still great value.
