The **Petzl Tactikka + RGB E089FA00 head torch** is compact yet powerful. This head torch has an output of 350 lumens, exceptional endurance and is easy to use. Designed for situations where you don't want to stand out. It is therefore ideal for hiking, fishing or animal-spotting. The Tactikka + RGB E089FA00 is equipped with red, green and blue light, As such it is suitable for almost any situation!

  * Red: supports night vision. Red light is perfect for maintaining your night vision. In addition, many animals don't notice red light.
  * Green: suitable for wildlife watching. With this colour, your eyes get used to the dark more quickly. Also, it is not visible to animals, so you can observe them better without disturbing them.
  * Blue: specifically for finding shot game. As soon as you activate this colour, you can quickly see that anything red becomes more visible.

## How to operate the Petzl Tactikka + RGB E089FA00

This head torch offers three white light levels and two red LED modes: steady or flashing mode. You can change it with just one push of a button, dependent on the situation. Briefly press the switch to turn the light on and to cycle through the different light modes. The torch starts in the least bright light mode. After going through all the light modes, the torch turns off. If you press the power button for half a second, the red light is activated.

  * Standard: 100 lumens, burn time approx. 12 hours
  * Low: 5 lumens, burn time approx. 160 hours

### RGB light modes for the Petzl Tactikka + RGB E089FA00

  * Low: 2 lumens, burn time approx. 60 hours
  * Strobe: visible at 700 metres for 400 hours

This head torch is splashproof. You can, as such, use the torch when it's raining, but you cannot submerge it in water. The torch can also be tilted into several positions. This is handy when you want to read in the dark. The elastic band is adjustable to make sure everyone can wear it comfortably. 

## Hybrid concept

The Petzl Tactikka + RGB E089FA00 works with three AAA batteries (included), but is also compatible with the rechargeable [Petzl Core battery](/en/pt/-petzl-core-battery-with-cable-e99aca.htm). The Petzl CORE is a rechargeable Li-ion battery that you can use to replace three AAA batteries. As such you can turn your head torch into a rechargeable version. You can easily charge the battery with a USB cable. Never worry about battery changes again!
