This Shapton Glass Stone grain 3000 is a sharpening stone that will help you sharpen all your knives. With this sharpening stone you make sure your knives become even sharper than they were upon delivery. The sharpening stone sharpens quickly and evenly. Which is exactly what we're looking for from a high-quality sharpening stone. Contrary to what you might expect from the name, the glass doesn't do the sharpening. You sharpen on a high-quality Japanese whetstone. A layer of tempered glass is attached to this to prevent bending.

I've used 6000 gr stone before for finish but this 3k gr feels better for my usage than 6k before.. I would buy stones/other equipment from this store again.. fast shipping and great quality of packaging and product

Great as expected. This ceramic stone looks fantastic with it's unique glass bottom. It is quick to use with splash and go. While sharpening it gives a nice response. Useful addition to 320 and 1200 diamond stone before stropping.
