The **Victorinox REX Peeler lavender** is a lightweight peeler with which you can quickly peel different types of fruit and vegetables. This peeler is comprised of a stainless steel blade and a handle made from aluminium. The design of the REX peeler originates from 1947 and works so good, it hasn't changed since.

## Victorinox REX blade

The REX peeler is enhanced with a straight and razor-sharp blade made from stainless steel. The blade turns with the curve of the fruit or vegetable for the thinnest possible result. Victorinox even claims that this knife cuts so thinly that the vitamins contained in the skin of the vegetables or fruit are largely preserved. The side of the peeler is enhanced with a small protrusion to remove the 'eyes' of a potato.

## Victorinox REX handle

The aluminium handle ensures this peeler is strong, lightweight and more sustainable than a peeler enhanced with a plastic handle. The two cut-outs in the handle ensure that your thumb and index finger have a lot of grip without you having to squeeze hard. Great if you need to peel a large amount of potatoes. We recommend not putting this peeler in the dishwasher. It can damage the product and its coating. It is best to clean the peeler by rinsing it off and brushing it under a hot tap.
