## Maintenance knife magnet

All our magnetic knife strips are oiled using a mineral oil. When the wood loses its beautiful colour all you have to do is apply a new coat of oil. Preferably paraffin oil such as the [Eden Essentials mineral oil for wooden cutting boards, 120 ml](/en/pt/-eden-essentials-mineral-oil-for-wooden-cutting-boards-120-ml.htm). You can also easily clean the strip using a damp piece of cloth.

Heel blij mee. Hangt vol met Opinel messen bij ons thuis, ziet er mooi uit. Ook al een keer losgehaald en opnieuw geïnstalleerd in een ander huis. Ging zonder problemen of beschadigingen.

Je moet met zwaardere messen wel goed zien dat ze volledig droog zijn of ze vallen er af, de magneten mochten toch wel wat sterker

Heel goede messenstrip. 
Staat mooi in de keuken met een rij messen erop. 
Montage is wat uitmeten eerst omdat je gaatjes moet boren op basis van de achterkant van de strip. En vervolgens de bijgeleverde pluggen en schroefjes erin. De schroefjes nog even wat dieper of minder diep erin, zodat de strip stevig zit uiteindelijk. Voor het ophangen van de messen moet je even zoeken naar de magneetpunten in de strip. Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit in ieder geval. 

Dit is de tweede magneet die ik heb besteld bij Knives and Tools. De eerste inmiddels een jaar zelf in gebruik en daarvan ben ik zeer tevreden. Mooi hout en voldoende kracht van de magneet. De tweede heb ik als cadeau gekocht.
