The**Hultafors Flint FD firesteel** is pleasant to use in all weather conditions. Forget the fight with matches and bring this Flint with you. Then you are always able to make a fire. With a length of 10 cm and a thickness of 10 mm, the Flint is both ergonomic and efficient. The sparks reach temperatures up to 3000 ℃

 The Hultafors Flint works perfectly on the back of the Hultafors OK1 and OK4 blades, but can of course also be used with other blades. For optimum use the back of the blade is ribbed. The OK1 and OK4 are supplied with a holster with room for the flint. With a fixed knife and the Flint, you are always able to make a fire.

Een uitstekende firesteel.
Voldoende groot om lang mee te gaan en het produceert een mooie vonkenregen. Het komt zonder schraper dus vooral handig voor mensen die het met een goed bushcraft of survival mes combineren (of die al een goede schraper hebben).

Het is minimalistisch van ontwerp (gaan handvat, gewoon een rekker om het makkelijk vast te kunnen maken) dus past perfect in je kampeer uitrusting.
Deze zit alvast permanent bij mijn kampeerspullen.

Ik gebruik nu al een paar jaar firesteels voor alles gaande van het aansteken van aanmaakblokjes bij de barbecue tot het aansteken van een volledig zelfgemaakt kampvuur.

Fijne firesteel, ik zocht er een die wat groter was dan gemiddeld, deze voldoet prima.

Werkt goed, is alleen iets groter en zwaarder dan verwacht. 

Wat een fijne firesteel! Gewend aan de versies met handvatje, werkt deze helemaal prima. Geeft veel vonken. Met elastiek goed vast te zetten in foedraal. Super!
