Awesome sharpening stone from a good brand. Best thing: Way less mess with the water as the stone does not need to soak. A bit expensive though...

I purchased this stone in conjunction with a 16000 stone to hone & finish a straight razor Both were very easy to use & gave me the result I was expecting. Shapton sets a standard for sharpening stones & does not disappoint.
