## How to use Skerper beeswax

Using the Skerper beeswax is simple and easy. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying the beeswax. Remove dust, dirt and any stains with a soft cloth. Take a clean cloth and gently rub the Skerper Beeswax onto the surface of the wood or leather. Apply a thin, even layer and leave it for a while. Then rub the surface with another part of the cloth to restore the shine and remove excess wax. For optimal protection and long-lasting results, repeat this treatment regularly, depending on the item's use and exposure. If you are using Skerper beeswax for the first time on a particular item, we recommend testing a small, inconspicuous area first to check if beeswax is suitable for the material. A little discolouration may occur.

Een goede wax aan een uitstekende prijs.
Het enige "nadeel" aan wax is dat het vaak je leer een beetje soepeler maakt. Op zich is dit meestal geen probleem maar als je bijvoorbeeld een knife sheath uit leer hebt dan wil je dit niet te zacht maken. Anders blijkft je mes niet meer goed zitten.
In dat geval kan je beter voor bijvoorbeeld de Casström Lapland Leather Wax kiezen.

Ik heb deze beeswax echter al veel gebruikt. Van het verzorgen van axe guards en knife sheaths tot het behandelen van waxed canvas petten tot het verzorgen van houten onderdelen van messen en bijlen. Ik heb er zelfs al het leer van schoenen mee behandeld. Dit is gewoon een heel degelijk product aan een scherpe prijs.

Noch nicht ausprobiert aber was soll da schon schiefgehen!

Très facile à appliquer sur mes premières sculptures 

Ik zag een filmpje op het internet waarin mensen bijenwas gebruikte om hout mooier te maken. Ik wil dat ook en ben zeer tevreden met het resultaat, zelfs een simpele Opinel ziet er ineens mooi en luxe uit. Op leer krijg je vooral wat meer glans en wordt ook wat harder en steviger, daar houd je van of niet. Let wel op dat alles net iets donkerder kleurt.

La diferencia ha sido asombrosa, sobre todo en alguna funda que había perdido color y brillo de tanto uso. Las maderas de los cuchillos han quedado impecables.
