Per zone there are various standards the lights need to adhere to. After development these lights need to be strictly checked. As soon as the light has passed all tests it is ready to receive the official ATEX certification. The official ATEX certification. Now the light can officially be called an ATEX light! All these lights adhere to the ATEX guide line 114 (previously ATEX 95).

ATEX certified flashlights were produced specifically for explosive hazardous areas. Without really knowing it there are many various explosive hazardous areas.
