MOLLE backpacks: what is MOLLE?

The term MOLLE is an acronym for: Modular Light-weight Load-carrying Equipment. In short: a light-weight system that can carry all your gear. This system originated in the U.S. Army. The army introduced this system in the late nineties as a standard for attaching equipment, knives, pouches and other gear to backpacks and tactical vests.
