The Fällkniven S1 Pro is the improved version of the well-known Fällkniven S1: the preferred knife of the Swedish army. For years this has been a very popular knife amongst outdoor enthusiasts. The convex edge is very sharp and very strong. Cutting wood and many other tasks will become a piece of cake. The Fällkniven S1 Pro is an all-round fixed knife that can withstand the most extreme circumstances. The thermorun handle offers enough good grip, even with wet hands. The tang of the blade runs all the way to the pommel, for optimal strength.

Ich wollte die Pro-Serie eigentlich auslassen, da sie zwischen die Standardserie und die X-Serie fällt. Mittlerweile habe ich vom F1 alle drei Modelle und das Pro ist dasjenige, das ich normalerweise mitnehme. Also habe ich beim S-Modell gleich beim Pro angefangen und ich muss sagen: da bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Die Griffe von Fällkniven sind immer dünner, als man erwarten würde. Wer sich mit nordischen Puukkos auskennt, wird damit aber kein Problem haben. Im Gebrauch verwächst das Messer mit der Hand und die Klinge wirkt nicht überdimensioniert. Unglaublich scharf und schnitthaltig, extrem gut verarbeitet und mit der Zytelscheide auch nicht zu schwer. Es gibt ebenso gute Messer, aber (zumindest meiner Erfahrung nach) keine besseren.
