The KME Gold Series 6x1" Fine diamond sharpening stone, 600 grit is a medium/fine sharpening stone to sharpen your knives and to maintain that sharpness. Keep in mind that 600 grit American standard (ANSI) corresponds to 1100 grit Japanese standard (JIS). This sharpening stone therefore gives a fine and sharp enough sharpening result for most pocket and outdoor knives. Want to make your knife even sharper, or sharpen kitchen knives? We recommend using the KME 1500 grit diamond sharpening stone.
