Features of the Opinel No. 08

There are many versions available of this popular pocket knife. For example, versions with handles made from luxurious wood types. You can also choose the steel type you prefer. Choose the Inox version if you prefer low-maintenance stainless steel or the Carbone version if you prefer the slightly stronger but higher maintenance carbon steel. There's even an Opinel No. 08 that is equipped with a corkscrew!

Another advantage of the Opinel No. 08 is that it's a very lightweight pocket knife. This is especially impressive if you consider similar knives with a comparable blade length. Special versions of the Opinel 8 pocket knife

There are several special versions available of the Opinel No. 08. There are the Outdoor versions, for example. These have handles made from plastic. There's also the Trekking line, these knives come with a piece of cord attached to them. Use this cord to attach the knife to your backpack with a carabiner, for example. What's extra special is the Black Oak edition. This version has a handle made from French oak wood, and the handle and locking mechanism have a black coating.
