It is a really well made upgrade on the previous model and overcomes all the previous limitations. It can cope with larger and smaller bladed items. It works well, is easy to use, has larger stones for better longevity. A terrific sharpener, it doesn't require great skill to use and get a good edge.

Bought it mostly to sharpen my carving knifes. Wood carving requires razor sharp blades. It's working well on big knifes, but harder to sharpen smaller ones such as the Mora 120 (my main working knife). it is possible to sharp smaller knifes using the small knife table but I feel it's not as precise. it seems like the leather strop wont last foe very long time and will be needed to be changed quite often. It would be great if they could come up with a solution for hook knifes and curved knifes which are imposable to sharpen with this kit.
