Karesuando knives: Scandinavian outdoor gear

Karesuando knives are practical, stylish and elegant. These knives ooze Nordic, Scandinavian culture. Because they use reindeer antlers and local curly birch wood, along with quintessential Scandinavian pouches, you immediately see these are Swedish.
Most of the knives have stainless steel blades hardened to a hardness of 57 HRC. This makes that the knives are easily cleaned, maintained and sharpened. The scandi-grind the knives (the way the edge is sharpened) is sturdy and popular with outdoor enthusiasts. Karesuando knives are known to be typical bushcrafting. They are also great to use as a hunting knife. In addition to excellent knives Karesuando also makes axes and knife which allow you to make your own Karesuando knife!
Origin of Karesuando knives
The Swedish Karesuando knives are created in the village Karesuando, Sweden. The village lies above the Arctic border, about as North as the upper regions of Canada and the middle of Greenland. Life in the harsh Arctic climate, the northern lights and the midnight sun serve as inspiration for the quality products by Karesuando.
Finish and warranty
AAll Karesuando knives are handmade, which means a small scratch or blemish underlines the character of the product. They always use natural products, which makes every knife unique. Karesuando is confident about their quality and gives (with normal use) 10 year warranty on all knives.
