ESEE Candiru: blade
Almost all Candiru knives have a blade made from 1095-carbon steel. This steel is not stainless, but it can handle a lot. Perhaps just as important: 1095 is also very easy to sharpen. This means you can still sharpen your knife in the field with relatively limited resources. This is nice and tough and can handle quite a bit. The Candiru features a coating that improves the blade's corrosion resistance.
ESEE Candiru: take it everywhere
The ESEE Candiru might have a short blade, it still comes in handy in a variety of situations. With its compact size it weighs next to nothing, allowing you to carry it with you without being bothered by it. With just the sheath and no belt clip, you could even carry the Candiru in your pocket. At a total length of 13cm, it is a lot smaller than a hefty pocket knife, but very sturdy as it does not fold. The knife has no mechanism that can fail under heavy use. The Candiru comes with a plastic sheath with kydex insert. As a result, this knife is inconspicuous and safe the carry. Thanks to its small size this knife finds a good home in almost any place.

The Candiru is delivered without scales, so you can choose the scales you like. That is, if you want to add scales. Some might prefer to wrap a paracord handle to improve grip. Handle scales are available in different colours. This allows you to really make the Candiru your own.
